The University of Macau (UM) on 5 November night held a variety show to celebrate the inauguration of its new campus, which took place earlier on the same day. It was the first variety show held in the University Hall on the new campus. UM’s Symphonic Band, UM Choir, UM String Orchestra, UM Chinese Music Group, as well as students from the residential colleges and Peking University, performed at the show. Approximately 700 people, including UM students, faculty members, administrative staff, alumni and guests, attended the event.
