Representatives of the CAS and UM Photo Download

A delegation from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), led by its vice president Zhang Yaping, recently visited the University of Macau (UM). Members of the delegation were warmly received by Wei Zhao, rector of UM; Lionel Li, vice rector (academic affairs) of UM; Feng Da Hsuan, director of UM’s Global Affairs Office and special assistant to rector; and Chuxia Deng, dean of UM’s Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS). The guests visited the FHS’s Cancer Centre, Drug Development Core, Animal Facility, and the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine (QRCM Lab) under the Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences. Zhang praised UM for its rapid development and achievements, and expressed hope that UM will increase collaboration with the CAS in various areas in the future.
