University of Macau (UM) Rector Wei Zhao has been appointed an Overseas Expert by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Rector Wei Zhao received an honour certificate from CAS President Bai Chunli during his visit to UM today (20 November). In addition, CAS’ Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health and UM’s Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences signed a collaborative research agreement to strengthen collaboration in the area of medical sciences.
