Sou Pak Chi, a fourth-year student from the University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Education and a member of UM’s Rock Climbing Team, recently won the championship in the women’s lead climbing category (Grade 1A) at a national inter-varsity rock climbing championship. This is the second time that UM has won a championship at this competition. She was also the second runner-up in the women’s bouldering category (Grade 1A).

Two other members of the team, namely Vincent Lo from the Faculty of Science and Technology and Tony Lok from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, placed fifth in the men’s bouldering category (Grade 1A) and seventh in the men’s bouldering category (Grade 3) respectively.
